This is a simple warp portal model, made using overlapping planes with the textures forming the actual model. The textures are high quality, at 2048x2048 resolution. The model comes in two formats, for ease of use- Autodesk FBX 2012, and 3ds Max 2014 formats. The FBX file has the textures embedded, and the max file comes with its textures included in the zipped folder. The models are zipped using 7zip. The max scene is setup using the default scanline renderer, so no special plugins are required. The max file has the textures double sided, and they are broken down into materials with transparency properly set up. The textures are diffuse, however they can easily be adapted to create bump and specular maps as desired. This model is a great prop for use in space scenes and renders, and is very adaptable due to its small file size.
