Wahl 9818L T-blade retainer clip

This is a replacement retainer clip for the T-blade that comes with the Wahl 9818L (and some other models) beard trimmer. The original piece broke where the spring held. Instead of dumping $15+ on an entirely new blade, I drew up and printed this replacement for the cost of ~1g of plastic. This should also work for the narrower detail trimmer, but I have not tried. Use the original self-tapping screws to cut the threads in the outer holes before attempting to attach. I found it easiest to rest the metal pieces that slide together first. Then insert the spring wire into the new part and press down on the base metal to get the screws in. It is quite difficult, if not impossible to get the spring in after assembly. It took several iterations of measure/print/test to get the clearances just right. This resulted in a bit of rubbing/wear on the plastic features on the handle portion. Printed in PLA, will do PETG if it doesn't hold up. Feedback is welcome!
