This replica sword draws inspiration from a genuine German hunting sword, carefully preserved in a private collection. In medieval Europe, men would often carry swords like this one for both protection and hunting within dense forests ("Wald"). The unique design allows it to be wielded with one hand, making it ideal for horseback riding. Handcrafted details include a twisted steel guard and an intricately segmented rosewood grip adorned with brass spacers. A high-quality leather scabbard is also included. Measuring 1-3/8 inches in width and 30 inches in length, the blade extends to a total of 37-3/4 inches in overall length.
