This caster lets you increase the wheelsize on your Walkin Pets dog wheelchair. We upgraded the one in the picture by installing Strider wheels on the rear and moving the stock rear wheels to the front. Admittedly mounting the rear wheels on the front is a little tricky but it does work well once set up. We used a long bolt from Ace as the axle and a series of lock nuts, washers and the printable spacer locked together to keep things tight without binding the wheel as it just rotates directly on the bolt. We do recommend using an acorn nut to cover the exposed end of the long bolt/axle to protect your doggo. The "headset" hardware all should transfer from your stock caster without modifications. Hope this helps someone out! Feel free to reach out with questions as the axle configuration is not very intuitive. *Edit 2-12-22: I ended up modeling the components to print your own wheels so installation is MUCH easier and the wheels will now run on a pair of 6902 bearings. I printed the wheel in PETG and the tire definitely needs to be printed in TPU. I used about 20" infill but if you want a firmer tire you can go higher. The tire is admittedly very tight to stretch over the rim. I soaked mine in hot water to soften it a bit and then used plastic tire levers to carefully pry it onto the rim. I will likely modify this at some point so it fits over easier but it is workable as is. If you are printing your own wheels, you do not need to use the file labeled "spacer" but will need to print "axle spacer" which goes between the bearings inside the hub.
