I converted my home HVAC system to be run by Home Assistant, and conveniently had space on the esp attached to the furnace for a temperature sensor in the adjacent cat/laundry room. Thus, a low-profile, supportless, snap-in ds18b20 mount with a through-hole for the wire. The goal was to have something that wouldn't get snagged by laundry baskets full of clothes being carried past it.
