[My design is on Onshape if you want to mod it](https://cad.onshape.com/documents/289cb54a628232ea3d1d696f/w/0a0eacc2c41b24dd526f8db7/e/86348bd62a3bff24b7d13d08). I added 0.3mm clearance for tight interference fits; change that variable if your printer is better. PARTS: - Stiff tension spring: MAX 4mm diam. x 40mm long, MIN 2mm x 20mm. I used one that was 2.7 x 26 (0.4mm wire). Alternately, O-ring might work as elastic. - 1" (25.4mm) wooden dowel cut to 11" (28cm) - 2x M3 x 16mm - 1x M2 x 16 - 3x M2 x 12 - 2x 1" (25mm) long flat head wood screws - 2x 1.5" (40mm) long flat head wood screws PRINTED PARTS (2 walls, 20% infill): - 1x Base, Arm, and Bushing - 2x Spacers ASSEMBLY: 1. See diagram above. 2. Put M2 x 16 halfway into side of arm, capture one loop of spring with the screw and screw in all the way. 3. Slide bushing into arm (should rotate freely) then line up with holes in hinge (on Base print) screw M3 x 16 screws into both sides. You'll need to screw in both at same time to prevent bushing from rotating. 4. Insert spring into Base side hole, capture other end of spring with tweezers, insert m2x12 into spring loop and push screw into a slot. 5. Push dowel into Base. Put spacers on dowel as shown in diagram. The spacers won't need M2x12 screws for now, but PLA loses tension over time. 6. Screw onto wall with 4 wood screws (bottom 2 first)
