Wandering Hour Clock - (M3 bolts)

<p>After a test print and functional review, I've had to modify most of the original STLs to make it 95-ish% operational. I've redone the tolerances a bit (scaling ruins them) and adjusted some thicknesses for the larger M3 hardware. It's close and I hope to get the last issues resolved “soon.” It's still getting hung up occasionally when the arms move through the hour rotation at the bottom.&nbsp;</p><p>This is still a work in progress. It's being uploaded by request. Print at your own risk.</p><p>My local hardware store has a poor selection of M2 hardware and I didn't want to buy another multi-size kit just for the hardware specified. So I decided to see if I could make an M3 version of the clock w/o messing up the original motor holder dimensions.</p><p>Basically, I took the clock_motor_holder_2.stl and tried to merge a 140% scale copy to it. The flow of the new part is not as clean as the original, but that has never been my strong suit. Sorry.</p><p>(4) M3x14 bolts for the main parts.</p><p>(3) M3x4 for the hour dials, and (2) for the minutes.</p><p>(1) M3x6 for the hour arms.</p><p>07/14/21: Realized that the sun gear coupler would probably not fit the movement once scaled as mentioned above. I threw together a similar mash-up that should fit with the scaled parts.</p><p>07/18/21: Added a version of the arms that fit in a 232x232 square. Had to trim them by about 4mm after scaling to fit my 235x235. Also, The movement nut is hard to start on the v1 holder so I added a “Draft” to the hole for more clearance. There's also a sacrificial 0.2'' solid so you won't need supports for the movement shaft hole. It should just bridge then you can clean the hole out after.</p><p>08/23/21: Uploaded a whole new set of STLs. This turned out to require more changes than I had expected initially, but it's close enough that it only hangs occasionally. I'll get the bugs worked out eventually though.</p>
