Wanhao D5S Centrifugal blower / fan cooling duct

All of the build platform is usable with this design. The hotend block will need to be insulated. A few layers of kapton tape works great for that purpose. The PID tuning will also need to be redone. Printed in PLA, it works extremely well. No issues with the duct melting or deforming due to heat with the fan always on at 100%. Has not been tested with other materials. Needed parts / hardware: Centrifugal blower / fan 5015 12V 0.25Ahttps://spool3d.ca/12v-centrifugal-fan-ball-bearing-50mm-x-50mm Epoxy / super glue to glue up the two halves together. 4 x #6 or M3.5 self tapping screws, 15mm long. 4 x Pillar spacer standoff, 6mm long. 8 x Fiber/rubber washers. Print Settings Printer: Wanhao D5S Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: 25%
