Wanhao D6/ Monoprice Ultimate Enclosure

I've designed the 3D laser cut files for the Wanhao D6 and Monprice Ultimate. I've since returned the printer because of issues with the printer, but I still have the files and measurements. IMPORTANT READ: - I've designed these files using measurements and then printing certain parts to see if it matches the print. They have never been printer full size nor have they been laser cut. So, whether it is fully accurate I am not quite sure (although I have quite a bit of confidence it is). MY recommendation is to print cut part of the files and print them with a 3mm height on your printer, this way you can check if the part will fit. - It is important to note that the front and side panels do not have pre-cut holes for the screws. I recommend you to line up the side panels and use a scriber to drill the holes. Keep in mind that you want to use a tap preferably. Look up the pre-tap hole sizes BEFORE tapping the holes you drilled, if you drill the hole too large you will end up with a tap in the acrylic that is too short. This is crucial. The side panels require M5 (16mm) and the front panel requires M4 (16mm). Or don't and use the pre tapped holes on the printer, your choice. - For the front panel I suggest printing a hinge from thingiverse and again using a scriber to mark the proper locations for the 2 hinges. This part https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1551631 should work well. Though you will most likely have to change the distance between the holes and the hole sizes. - I also suggest printing the handle from thingiverse (one you like the most). This one would work well https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1228617. Either use two component glue to adhere it to the acrylic or use nuts and bolts to fasten this. This depends on preference - I highly suggest customizing the files for the top. This is completely individual, since the top part can be as low as you possibly can get it or the top part can have a high clearance. You can also change the hole size in the back, this depends on how much room you want the cables and filament to have. - For the top part, I suggest using two component glue to fuse the panels together. This is the same for the handle on the front panel. Make sure you read the description on the two component glue to make sure it doesn't fail under high heat. - Lastly don't skimp on the quality of the acrylic. I suggest 3mm acrylic and the most heat resistant one you can find. It is possible for acrylic to deform under heat. Something to consider. Finally I would love to hear of the people who made or adapted this enclosure (either through comments or photos). I'd love to see the enclosures you guys made from these files. Hope you guys enjoy!
