WD6 Taulman Nylon Spool Holder The various nylon (polyamide) filament spools from Taulman (USA) unfortunately do not have a normal hole diameter of 50 mm and therefore do not fit on common spool holders. The Wanhao coil holder is too thick and too short anyway. The Taulman coil diameter is 126 mm, the coil width is 77 mm and the through hole of the coils has 19 mm only. Thus, I have designed and tested a matching thorn for the Taulman nylon coils, which fits into the intended opening for the Wanhao Duplicator 6 Plus. The M30 nut also fits the Wanhao coil holder. If you have inserted the Taulman nylon coil over the thorn, secure the coil with the knurled nut in which you screw it in by hand until the stop. I printed the parts first in PETG (Prusament transparent) and then in PLA-TEC (better technical properties than normal PLA). Both works well, however, the Taulman coil on the PLA-TEC thorn has a slightly higher coefficient of friction which has beneficial effects on the even rolling of the filament. The present coil holder is also suitable for all other filament coils that can be processed with the Wanhao Duplicator 6 Plus. ------- WD6 Taulman Nylon Spulen Halter Die diversen Nylon (Polyamide) Filament Spulen von Taulman (USA) weisen leider keine normalen Lochdurchmesser von 50 mm auf und passen so auch nicht auf übliche Spulenhalter. Der Wanhao Spulenhalter ist zu dick und sowieso zu kurz. Der Taulman-Spulendurchmesser ist 126 mm, die Spulenbreite 77mm und das Durchgangsloch der Spulen hat nur 19 mm. Somit habe ich für die Taulman Nylon Spulen einen passenden Dorn designt und getestet, der beim Wanhao Duplicator 6 Plus in die dafür vorgesehene Öffnung passt. Die M30 Mutter passt auch zum Wanhao Spulenhalter. Wenn Sie die Taulman Nylon Spule über den Dorn eingeführt haben, so sichern Sie die Spule mit der Rändelmutter in dem Sie diese bis zum Anschlag von Hand einschrauben. Ich habe die Teile zuerst in PETG (Prusament transparent) und dann in PLA-TEC (bessere technische Eigenschaften als normales PLA) ausgedruckt. Beide funktionieren gut, jedoch hat die Taulman Spule auf dem PLA-TEC Dorn einen leicht höheren Reibungskoeffizienten was sich vorteilhaft auf das gleichmässige Abrollen des Filaments auswirkt. Der vorliegende Spulenhalter ist auch für alle anderen Filament Spulen geeignet, die mit dem Wanhao Duplicator 6 Plus verarbeitet werden können.
