WanHao Duplicator I3 2.1 and Plus Belt Tensioner
thingiverse
To install this on a DI3 PLUS, you must carefully disassemble your extruder and rotate the stepper motor so that the plug faces the print bed. Refer to pictures for orientation of the plug. This part isn't difficult; it's something like removing three screws and spending five minutes adjusting things. Modified this belt tensioner to work on the DI3 Plus. The belts do not rub or cause issues at either extreme. Installation: To attach the body, you'll need two M4 x 12mm screws and two M4 flat washers. You must screw them into the same place as the stock X axis belt screws go. The holes in my machine were not threaded all the way through, but by applying a bit of force, I managed to thread the screws straight through the plate - so basically, if your screws seem to be bottoming out/too long, keep turning until they start creating their own threads and go through the gantry plate. I think the knob requires an M3 x 25mm screw and an M3 hexnut to mount. I modified the original STL (this is a remix) in Solidworks, and provided that file in case it's of use to anyone. Enjoy!
