I'm not a fan of the standard spool holder, even though it's metal, I find it to be surprisingly weak. The moment I add a roll of filament, it starts to sag noticeably. Fortunately, there's a much stiffer alternative available. This one also has a hole for a lockdown screw, so once you've slid it onto the frame, you can secure it in place using an M3-.5x 16mm or longer socket cap screw. Keep in mind that the screw may leave a circular scratch on the paint where it contacts the holder, so consider applying some tape to prevent this issue.
