Wanhao Duplicator i3 Bed Camera Mount

This is a bracket system I developed for my Wanhao i3 and RaspBerry Pi camera that allows me to do frame captures and monitoring right from the bed. The brackets are designed with a hinge that allow you to slip them around the front right (facing the printer) bed adjustment knob. The hinge provides support on the bottom plate that helps the part from flopping around as the bed moves. Additionally, you should consider adding a smidge of adhesive at the end (inside depth wise of the bottom plate) of the support bracket on the underside of the runner that has the hinge. This will help greatly in keeping the bracket secure. I used a "Glue Dot" to adhere mine. Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 15% Notes: Be sure to add support around the hinge area as appropriate but don't go crazy with it. Decide whether you want your mount on the side or the front of your bed and print the appropriate bracket. You can print multiple arms depending on how you want to orient the camera. Two arms give you quite a bit of flexibility between angle and height. Post-Printing Bracket Hinge Break Away & Assembly Be gentle when breaking the hinge loose on the bracket and pulling it away from the bracket. When installing the bracket you'll find it pretty easy to just slip the hinge/bracket around the front right adjustment knob on the bed. Just be a gentle when doing it and you'll be fine. How I Designed This Design / CAD Built using TinkerCAD with a caliper in hand for measuring.
