This modified bracket employs an 8mm hole to secure and align the gauge perfectly. The center of this hole is precisely 8mm from the back panel's surface. A flat surface on the back of the gauge is a must-have. This remixed design alters the original as little as possible, maintaining its excellent fit with the printer. However, one major issue with the original for me was securing the gauge firmly to the bracket. To resolve this challenge, I recommend combining this modified bracket with my top-rated mod: a bed height adjuster, available on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1643667). This ingenious device allows you to level the bed effortlessly, eliminating concerns about the initial height setting. Once adjusted, the height is locked in place by the mod, ensuring a smooth printing experience. The height adjuster is truly my number one modification.
