Important notice!!: This design has some issues, but I am keeping it on the site if anyone still wants to see if they want to improve it or... something. :) This is just a tensioner that's designed so you can tension your belt without The need for cable ties, and that eliminates the twisting and rubbing that the belt will have in the stock way of mounting the belt. Note before when installing: Screw it onto the printer before adding the belt, otherwise the screw-head will crush the belt. Please let me know how it is so that I can make improvements! Also, make sure to install it in the correct orientation! (L is closest to the tower, and R is closest to the Idler wheel. this is when viewing the printer from behind.) I am unsure if it will work with other printers Besides the Wanhao Duplicator I3 Mini. The belts might be a tight fit, but don't be scared of using some force to push the belts into the slots. it's meant to be a tight fit to prevent slippage. it it's too tight and you just cannot get the belts in, I have included the 123d file so you can make edits to suit your printer/belt :) It might be a tiny bit different than in the pictures now as I've made some slight changes to hopefully give it some more strength after finding that it... was ever so slightly warping under the tension of my belt. (I used 30 percent grid infill and 3 walls. You might want to print with denser infill and/or more walls, just incase...)
