This part is designed to replace the stock spool holder's fittings with standard pneumatic components, allowing the filament to be used while stored in a dry box. It accommodates 6mm nuts and utilizes the same 30x1.5 nut found on the original spool holder. Version 1.1 incorporates modifications to minimize filament contact with the printer frame and adds fillets for added structural integrity. When printing, use a vertical orientation. Supports should be placed in contact with the build plate. If supports are used within the nut holes, exercise caution when cleaning them out to ensure a snug fit for the nuts. All forces are transmitted through the top layers, so a minimum thickness of 1mm is recommended to prevent sagging. This part was successfully printed using PLA and PETG filaments with no reported issues. Recommended layer height: 0.2mm.
