Wanhao Duplicator i3 v2.1 Z-probe bracket for BLTouch
thingiverse
This is a custom z-probe bracket specifically designed for the Wanhao Duplicator i3 v2.1, with precision probe hole spacing tailored for the BLTouch probe.\r\n\r\nDeveloped for the i3 v2, this bracket fits snugly around its newer rounded bearings on the x-axis carriage. Inspired by rativiv's BLTouch mount (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2042894), I adapted the idea to attach the bracket to the lower bearing bolts but was dissatisfied with the resulting probe offset of about 55mm back and 20mm right.\r\n\r\nThis bracket retains the same mounting holes, placing the probe directly underneath the i3 print nozzle for accurate measurement of the entire print surface. You'll need to install or remove the probe when measuring or printing, but I secure the bracket in place during measurement using four m4 wing nuts.\r\n\r\nI crafted this part from standard 4.7752mm aluminum stock to keep it lightweight and rigid, but you can also print it out of PLA if preferred. Note that you might need to enlarge the bearing bolt holes if printing, as I maintained tight tolerances to minimize slop.
