Wanhao Duplicator I3 X Axis Bearing Block (Marsfrogie Block)

thingiverse

This is an adapted SCS8UU design bearing block intended to solve the problem encountered on the Wanhao Duplicator I3 and Monoprice Maker I3, where the belt consistently rubs against the bottom of the X-axis carriage bearings. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% Notes: I scaled this to 1.03 in Cura for a precise fit of the bearing. At 1.03, an interference fit is achieved, which requires slight pressing/tapping to insert the bearing correctly. A tighter fit minimizes looseness. Alternatively, scaling between 1.04 and 1.05 will provide a removable fit, allowing you to adjust it according to your preferences. Shell Thickness: 2.4mm (5 layers) Bottom/Top Thickness: 2.4mm Post-Printing Instructions: Pre-drill holes and tap them before assembly to prevent the bearing block from cracking under stress. A longer screw/bolt in the top hole provides additional structural strength, ensuring the component's durability and stability.
