Wanhao I3 2.1 & Micro Swiss Ninja Flex Drive Plate

EDIT 18/01/2017 I have added 2 more versions of the back plate which allow for the use of the CNC leaver. This file as yet has not been tested and I am awaiting for a contributor who has the leaver to print and test for fitment. EDIT 16/01/2017 I have uploaded a few more options for the backplate, it has been brought to my attention that I have my hotend set too high @ 2.7mm, the Micro Swiss manual states that the cold end should protrude 1.7mm so MK2 1.7mm is now available with or without support. I have downloaded and tested a few of these drive plate and non of the worked for me, I am printing with the Duplicator I3 V2.1 with a micro Swiss hot end. I have designed this with very high tolerance, just 0.5mm between the main body and the drive gear. I have also built in more spring tension so there is no need to purchase a stronger spring. As you can see in my photos my Micro Swiss sits proud on top of the block so I have allowed for this in the print meaning there is no need to use and PTFE tubing. I have designed this plate so that the re is literally no where for the filament to go except out of the hot end. You will use the original release leaver and hardware, so just print fit and enjoy printing flex. I would welcome your feedback and also any comments for variations or enhancements. Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 50 Notes: In with the file I have included the necessary supports to print. I printed in PETG, I would suggest either PETG or ABS being suitable because of the vicinity to the cold end of the hot end. To finish remove the support plug and run a 2mm drill through the small hole where the filament goes.
