This is a little modification to the fan spacer/grill by thatch. The main difference are that I've chamfered back the spacer block to maintain clearance from the hotend. I've also added a lip around the edge of the fan so that the fan can't slip out when everything is bolted together. This means the entire heatsink/fan/print is one solid unit so you only have to worry about losing the bolts. :D I'd print the spacer portion out of ABS for heat reasons. There's two versions of the fan surround. One has a guard, the other is open. You should be able to keep using the existing motor bolts. This spacer only adds 1mm to the fan thickness. Use a couple of small screws to hold the spacer to the fan guard. There's a version of the fan guard for both 40x40x10 fans and 40x40x11 fans.
