This is a simple Filament guide for the Wanhao i3. I recently purchased one of these printers for my daughter and another for myself. There is a filament guide that is similar to this one already on Thingiverse. I even downloaded it and tried to use that one. But it did not work for me. It kept jumping off of the printer. So I designed this one from the ground up. It has longer legs and you have to thread it before inserting the filament into the extruder. But it seems like it will stay in place. The one in the photo was printed on the Wanhao i3 V2.1 Printer with ABS filament. No supports needed. However, I did use a raft. The STL and 123D Design files are here. How I Designed This The guide simply sits on the top rail of the printer. It will slide back and forth under the filament spool.
