My first design as I am new to the 3D printing community. After performing the Z-brace upgrade for my Maker Select V2 I wanted to cover up the unsightly threaded rods without using that ugly and costly store-bought cable loom. The design is 100mm high and seems to be the highest I can print it uniformly on my printer before it starts to deform. You need to print 7 of these to cover all the threaded rod (3.5 on each side) Make sure to include a wide brim at the bottom to keep it stuck on the bed. I found to print slowly with maximum cooling to keep the PLA rigid all the way up. After printing is done simply snap the cover over the rod and enjoy your awesome looking printer!
