Wanhao i3: Ramps, Rasp Pi, and Mosfet Control Box Combo Adapter

An upgrade for the Wanhao I3 control box that replaces the original Melzi electronics with a Ramps1.4, a Raspberry Pi 2/3, and a mosfet. This adapter fits snugly into the existing control box. I used this Mosfet, which is more than capable of handling the heatbed current. Any mosfet with a spacing of 38mm x 63mm will fit without issues. The adapter fits on top of the existing mounting holes and is secured with M3 screws and washers. Everything can be mounted with M3 screws. I also recommend switching out the rear fan with an 120mm adapter to keep everything cool. If you use a RepRapDiscount Full Graphic Smart Controller such as the one in this ramps kit, it is a drop-in replacement for the old Melzi LCD. The SD card is built into the screen so you will lose the ability to switch out SD cards, however this is not really an issue if you also are moving to Octopi. I also recommend this Ramps guide.
