<p>Happy International Repair Day!</p><p>We had a lot of positive feedback on social media in regard to this quick fix a while ago. One 3D printing community member on Facebook even asked for an STL file. At first, I thought that publishing an STL file would be pointless as this model was customized specifically for our wardrobe. However, after giving it some thought, I decided to create the instructions on <a href="https://3dwithus.com/how-to-3d-design-3d-print-wardrobe-rail-bracket">How to Design and 3D Print Wardrobe Rail Brackets</a>. </p><p>Such a model must be able to hold a massive weight, therefore the brackets must be 3D printed on the side, with the layers placed continually in the direction, opposite to the tension point. See the screenshot from PrusaSlicer.</p><p>This bracket was quickly designed in Tinkercad. It will look fancier if designed in Blender or other sophisticated software.</p><p> 3D Printed on my veteran <a href="https://3dwithus.com/original-prusa-i3-mk2-mk25s-upgrade">upgraded MK2.5S</a> printer in <a href="https://3dwithus.com/abs-filament">ABS</a>. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
