I'm trying this new approach with pre-existing ZBrush detail parts on an existing photo-textured STL file to give the design a fresh look. This modular brick building ruin was created with 2-part easy vertical printing in mind. Both Netfabb and MeshMixer have been run through the design, so it should be dense enough for those ZBrush details to come out clean and smooth - but you know your machine best, so I recommend re-running each file through MeshMixer and adjusting its hollow and/or thickness if you want to re-scale it from its default size (about 10mm).
