Wanted tokens for use during Warhammer 40K battles to keep track on which units had moved. They worked so great that I added some of the other marking tokens.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

i3 MK3

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.1 - 0.2

Infill:

20%

Filament:
DevilDesign PLA Blue

Notes:

Printed the ones in the picture Standing to get best possible details on both sides.
Standing: Rotate on X-axis 90-deg.

Id recommend using a brim of 5-10.mm to get proper bed-adhesion as these may come loose during printing.

Est. 1.5 for 5pc

Post-Printing

These coins printed upright can string a lot. Recommended using a heat-gun to melt them. But be careful not to overheat and melt, as they are only 1.mm at the center

Also I do use a scalpel to remove stuff from the brim.

How I Designed This

Fusion 360

These are designed flat in three steps, all equal.

Coinbase Step one

Create coin with polygon-8-sides

Extrude 1.mm Side one Step two

Offset 2.mm in from base to create perimeter wall

Add text

Extrude text and wall 1.mm Side two step three

repeat last step on other side.

Category: Toy & Game Accessories
