Plugs I made for the Adeptus Titanicus Warlord Titans to make it easy to magnetize the waist. Glue the plug into the bottom and the cup on the top of the platform. Then once dry add the magnets. I did it this way so there is zero chance of the top magnet being pulled loose as once assembled you can't access it again. Uses the same magnets as most gaming bases. Ones in the picture were printed on a Lulzbot TAZ 6 with a 3mm printhead and Polylite PLA.
