Washer and Dryer Guard Extension

I have a front-loading washer and dryer, and they have no back panel, so stuff falls off them. I found this product online. Perfect However, look at the picture that shows a gap in the guard and you will see that my washer and dryer are bigger than standard. So there would have to be a gap or the guard shape has to be a trapezoid. Solution: 3D print an adapter that’s 2 3/8” to fill the space. The original design had pegs on the left side of the piece to fit into the holes on the left-side panel. However, they just weren’t strong enough. So I just printed holes and glued in ¼” dowels. See the picture of the extender only. Then, Voila! Spacer doing its job.
