Watch Band Holder

Watch Band Holder

thingiverse

This part holds a watch band in place so that the pins can be removed with a hammer/mallet and punch. I ordered a watch band resizing kit and the holder was made of pretty cheap and flimsy plastic. I took some measurements and threw together something in Tinkercad with a little more substance to it. I thought it turned out alright, so I figured someone else may want to use it too. This is my first published Thing, so let me know if you have any feedback. Print Settings Printer: PowerSpec / Flashforge Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: As low as you want Infill: Fairly high so it doesn't crush when you hammer on it. 30-40%? Notes: I printed mine with ABS, but PLA should work fine too. It's pretty much just a block, so use low resolution settings to crank it out faster. If the slots are too snug for your watch band, just open them up a little with a file or scale up the print a little.
