Watchmen Dr Manhattan Coaster

I'll be completely honest here; this coaster was born because of a combination of my just buying the Watchmen blu-ray (a story so good that even being directed by Zak Snyder couldn't make it suck) and having a lot of sky-blue filament which I wanted to use.  I find it's always best to be honest with your audience, don't you...? Anyway, one of my favourite characters in the Watchmen series is Dr Manhattan, a former nuclear scientist who was vapourised in an Intrinsic Field Subtractor (love that technobabble) and learned to reassemble himself into a superpowered godlike being.  In doing so he removed his humanity, to the point where he ended up not caring about the world and the fate of mankind at all.  All in all quite a tragic character, which is what makes the whole Watchmen series so compelling.  This coaster won't give you the ability to create diamonds on Mars or explode someone with the power of your mind (eww) but it'll definitely keep your table clean...
