If you have a residential/commercial water meter cover that has a 5 sided bolt on the lid that is 0.82" (20.8 mm) from a flat to a tip, this wrench allows you to open the lid to read the meter or shut off the main water valve. I made it after helping my son replace the primary water valve inside his home. This would have made opening the lid a lot easier. Instructions Printed this flat, cleaned up as needed, try it on the bolt head, and use a rotary grinder as necessary until it fits the fastener. For additional strength (if you are concerned about loosening a tight lid) a metal band could be placed around the circular portion of the wrench.
