this set is composed of two families of elements, the rocket and the launch pad. The rocket: On a 1 litre Badoit bottle base. The fin part comes on the neck area (fixed with glue or adhesive tape). The ring comes on the "ass" of the bottle (it goes down to the label part by forcing a little bit ), the head cap is simply put on the bottle and connected with a wire to the ring. This cap is used to cover a parachute so that it is released when the spacecraft falls (unfortunately, placing it in orbit is difficult at this stage of the project's development). The cork is aimed at the bottle and screwed on as tightly as possible. It conditions the height of the bottle flange and therefore the pressure exerted on the O-ring. The support is in two versions, one with a valve-type outlet for connecting a standard pump, the other with a simple hole for screwing a valve in order to fix a hose with a clamp. On the rocket side, it can receive a straw (diameter 7.5 mm) to optimize the propulsion. Note: the valves used are emptied. To make the parachute, I use a thin plastic (biodegradable vegetable pouch). A square of 45 cm of side is cut out then small knots are made at each angle. A thread of 25-30 cm is tied at each of these angles. Each of these four strands will be hooked into the holes provided for this purpose on the ring. The propulsion system consists of the plug and bearing assembly (the bearing receives an O-ring, 13.6 x 19 x 2.7). The firing point: The base plate is fixed on a support with a passage for the air supply (three holes for the screws). The three claws are mounted on the axis, they hold the bottle for the pressure build-up by leaning on the bottle's collar. As shown in the pictures the bottle is upside down. The claws hold it in place. The ring locks it in place. To release the rocket the ring is lowered with a blow of string through the eyelets.
