A model of a handheld toy of a WATER ROCKET, with a funnel and an adaptable air pump.General notes:All threads are really modelled with theoretical values and without clearance.The assembled o-rings are shown in the undeformated state.The assembled plunger sealing is shown in the undeformated state.The assembled sealing, between air pump socket and water rocket fuselage,is shown in the undeformated state.The air valve is a developement of my own, and not yet tested for a proper function.Very important notes:Fill in water only approx. 33% of the inner rocket volume into the rocket cavity.The pressure in the rocket body should not be higher than 8 bar.Make your own calculation for the maximum strokes with the air pump.My calculation for comparision: Do not pump the rocket more than 15 times.Always aim rocket straight up and tilt away from your body.Never aim or point the rocket at people or animals.For outdoor use only.Likes and especially comments - positive or negative - are appreciated.From negative comments and any kind of hints to mistakes I've made, I can learn,to make the same mistake not once again.The model is available in following formats:STEP-file of the complete assembly and all native files (.prt) and (.asm)together in a (.zip)-folder, for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«If you like to rebuild this model to a real toy and like to make experiments with it,please take care, because it has been not tested yet for a safety function.A FEM-calculation, regarding the air pressure safety, has not been done yet.I hope, that the numbers of "Likes" are at least the same as the numbers of downloads.If you have any question to this type of design, please don't hesitateto contact me per private message.Thank you for attention!
