This watering spout is adapted to include a vent. The standard straw allows air to enter the 2 liter bottle. There is a collar in the spout to easily glue the straw. The bottle then does not crush due to the air pressure differential. Two versions are included. The high flow version quickly empties the bottle. It is probably to much for most applications. The low flow takes more time to drain and is gentler water flow. Directions: Print Use hot glue to glue the straw into the collar in the waterspout. Cut or drill a hole in the cap of the 2 liter bottle. Attaching the cap to the bottle makes this easier. Test fit the cap in the waterspout. It should be tight. Hot glue the cap in the waterspout. Press it in while hot for a tight seal. Enjoy!
