The Water Spyder is a Holonomic Paddleboat proof of concept prototype. Holonomic drive systems give vehicles the ability to move in any direction. Holonomic drives have been used on land vehicles but never on an aquatic vehicle. This gives a boat the ability to manuver in very tight spaces and avoid collisions that are encountered while docking.
