This water trap design is focused on the increasing of heat exchange with the outside of the trap. The incoming gas is forced into a channel that twist around the output tube. The shape is meant to have an important surface of exchange and allow the condensed water to slide down using gravity.This water trap is designed to be produced by metal 3D printing technologies such as DMLS: https://all3dp.com/2/direct-metal-laser-sintering-dmls-simply-explained/ or Binder jetting: https://www.3dnatives.com/en/powder-binding100420174/. Those process may seem expensive but considering the size of the object, I think it could be produced by series of hundred which could lower the unity cost.
