**OUTDATED VERSION** See reworked version: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6231840/files UPDATE 21.09.2023 Please note, that i am working on a reworked version of this Waterchange-Set. New Version will use less material, will be customizeable in mounting height, require only one sealing ring and should fit on more water hoses. I'm going to upload the new files within the next few days. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE 09.06.2023 Just discovered an stability issue with the part “suction_adapter” where after a while it breaks apart at the end of thread which connects the “watertap_adapter_base”. So i added "reinforced_suction_adapter” where i slightly strengthened the weak spot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *UPDATE* In case you need to lower the outlet height while draining, i've added the following: - suction_adapter_hoseextension This will allow you to connect an extra piece of hose. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *UPDATE2* At another watertap i needed a slightly different version of "watertap_adapter_clamp" where the inner part is a little longer. So i added "watertap_adapter_clamp2" I recommend using this for most watertaps. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Toolset for Aquarium waterchanges. Things you need: - 2x sealing washer 30x3,3mm (inner diameter 20mm) - 2x sealing washer 19x2,4mm (inner diameter 11mm) - waterhose 16/12mm or any similar sealing material. (see pictures for sealing washers i used). Printed all parts with 1.6mm layer height and 200°/60° PLA. Most of them without support. (see slicerpictures for supports and print orientation) Note, that those components arent 100% waterproof which should not matter since its used over a sink anyway. Steps to perform for waterchange: 1. connect adapter to the water tap 2. make sure the outlet is closed with the "suction_adapter_plug" 3. turn on watertap until the hose into the aquarium is completely filled with water 4. close watertap and remove "suction_adapter_plug" - if your aquarium waterline is over the adapter, water should now drain out of the aquarium 5. stop water draining from the aquarium, screw back on the "suction_adapter_plug" and open watertap. Sadly i can not guarantee, that this adapter will fit your watertap - please check the correct dimensions of your water tap befor printing. (therefor see pictures for required water tap dimensions)
