Thangs
**A beautiful and robust watering can** – designed to be as big as possible for a regular 3D-printer. By printing it 45 degrees rotated, the z-height is used more efficiently while adding to stability due to bigger layers on the handle.
**Versions included**
1,3L; 1,0L; 0,7L; 0,5L
Please don’t scale the file down on your own since the wall- and handle thickness will be reduced and could cause the can to leak.
Size standing 1,3L (as it will be used): 278 x 160 x 160 mm
**Print settings**
Required build volume for the 1,3L version: 190x190x250 mm
Material usage: 200g
Material: PLA
Print direction: Stl is rotated correctly, check images
Support: none
Nozzle size: 0,4 mm
Line width: 0,4 mm
Layer height 0,2 mm
Outer walls: 5
Infill: 30%
Top/Bottom Layers: 6
Make sure to use the wall count, infill and top/bottom layers – it won’t add too much of material usage and print time since the main wall thickness is 2 mm and will be solid anyway. These settings just make sure that the handle is super robust.
Watertight printing - If you have a well set up machine it comes automatically - Otherwise here are some tips: Increase your wall count (at least 3), level your bed nicely, decrease print speed, increase layer height (at least 0.2mm), check your seam quality, calibrate your e-steps and fine tune your retraction settings to make sure no holes appear after a layer change.
