Watering Spout for Expired SodaStream Bottles (Parametric)

<p>SodaStream bottles have an expiry date. &nbsp;A once more environmentally friendly way of drinking carbonated water still produces plastic (PETE) bottle waste. This project aims to eliminate that waste (almost) entirely by repurposing expired SodaStream bottles into indoor plant watering cans. &nbsp;I've been using a prototype for three months on my succulents.</p><p>This lid reuses the seal from the SodaStream bottle's old lid. &nbsp;The seal is necessary to prevent leaks. I hope to create a future project that will upcycle and reuse the old lid too.</p><p>This is my first 3D printing project. &nbsp;I am including an STL file for my default design and an OpenSCAD file so users can modify the showering holes for their specific purpose. 7 holes seemed good to deliver a controlled amount of water for my succulents.</p><p>Print Settings:</p><ul><li>Standard Settings! &nbsp;Layer Height 0.2mm, Nozzle Size 0.4mm</li><li>No Supports</li><li>Printing with a 10+ layer brim and with the spout holes on the bed has not failed me.</li><li>Print with the same orientation as in the STL or SCAD files (nozzle on bed)</li></ul><p>Known Bugs:</p><ul><li>I have had some phantom bridging inside the threads. If anyone knows how to fix that please comment. I created the threads from scratch with rudimentary knowledge of OpenSCAD.</li><li>I have updated but not printed the STL to have a thicker plastic at the very end of the spout. The layers of plastic with holes had fallen out in a previous design. &nbsp;This may still need more iteration with PLA but PETG seems to be solid.</li></ul><p>Thanks!</p>
