Waterproof Raspberry Pi camera housing

Designed for RaspberryPi camera board Rev 1.3 with ribbon cable.This housing was designed to protect the camera from rain and snow in the context of a research project. This camera was able to take images at regular intervals during a whole winter. For more watertightness, a teflon tape was applied on the screwed parts.The camera angle can be easily adjusted by means of a screw in the housing (e.g. to point more towards the sky or the ground). The ribbon cable is passed through the sleeve and the whole housing can be screwed onto another waterproof entity, for example a plastic box, in which the Raspberry Pi and other electronic components are stored. The plexiglass window has been sealed with a silicone seal and is sufficiently water-repellent so that snow does not adhere to it and rain does not affect the image quality.
