WBHY Tap Handle

Water + Barley + Hops + Yeast = Beer (the beer being real beer dispensing from the faucet) This tap handle represents the 4 main ingredients for beer. I've included various versions of the handle to choose from. Icons can be printed separately and then glued into the handle. Instead of printing threading into the model, a threaded brass insert should be used. Please check out the post about the build on my site:http://fermware.com/3d-printed-tap-handles/ Instructions For best results, print the icons separately in appropriate colors then glue into the handle frame using your preferred method. Use a brass threaded insert made for plastic. The model available here has been designed for E-Z LOK 260-6-BR (3/8"-16 brass insert), which is available at McMaster in a 10 pack as 94615A118. The model is created with what I found to be an ideal 0.450" pilot hole, but you'll most likely need to clean up the printed hole with a 29/64" (0.453") drill bit. The McMaster recommended pilot hole is 7/16" (0.4375"), but you will definitely need to prep the hole with a generous amount of acetone to melt the ABS and press the bushing in carefully so you don't split the handle. December 8, 2014 update: I've uploaded a 2 part flask (shown in pictures). Print the outer (Flask_2part_flask) in clear and the inner (Flask_2part_yeast) in gold. I've got a dual extruder, so I printed them simultaneously. I can't say how printing the colors separately will turn out.
