WD My Book -> Dock Conversion

Convert your old WD my book USB 3.0 into a docking station to fit any SATA based drive. This will allow you to plug in any internal drive via USB 3.0. This makes things easier if you have a few HDDs lying around and you want to make good use of them. I used a 1TB USB 3.0 version of the WD My Book. The PCB_Holder model may need changing if your PCB shape/ layout is in any way different than mine. Any PCB version that's within 65mm x 65mm can be made to fit by altering the PCB_holder model. Other than that, everything just friction-fits together. You can use glue or a 3D pen to weld the parts together if you want to. Printing time is roughly 3hrs per large piece, 30min for PCB_holder, and 45min for the side piece. For a total of about 10.5hrs to print everything. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/jUps0O_B_1c" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/f6r7qkuJtTo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
