Weather Station

Weather Station

thingiverse

This is a DIY weather station I design for a college project. All STL files I printed on an ultimaker 2 with default settings. These are all V1 models. The measurements for the attachments between the support arms and the rain gauge housing (case_with_attachement.stl) and the main housing (weather_station.stl), are slightly wrong so I had to sand down parts of the print to make them fit. I'll reupload corrected models as soon as I get a chance. The anemometer assembly is measured to take an M8 threaded bar and 2 bearings. The support_arms.ai are designed to be laser cut. The design is for any material that is 5mm thick, and can be slotted together to make rigid structures. I used a sheet of Acrylic, 1000x500x5mm, and the arms came out nice and strong. They're should slide over any 20mm diameter pole, however I haven't yet taken into account that they can rotate freely about the pole and will need to be fixed in place.
