Webber Summit Grill Light Switch Cover

Webber Summit Grill Light Switch Cover

The Webber Summit series of grills has backlit burner knobs. To enable the LEDs you press a momentary switch. This switch has a “waterproof” rubber sleeve over it that keeps the switch mechanism inside and out of the elements. The rubber degrades over time, probably due to natural ozone in the air. It might also degrade with cleaners that you might use to clean the grill over the years. Rather than buy an expensive new switch (if you can find one) I decided to replace the rubber cover with my own using TPU flexible filament. It is a little stiffer than the original, but it works!
