Webcam Stand

Webcam Stand

I created this webcam stand out of necessity. It is designed so you can print as many arms as you want to change the height. The end cap is threaded to with a 1/4 - 20 thread, which is the standard size for cameras, video cameras, webcams, etc. It is plastic, so I recommend carefully threading it by hand the first time so you don't cross-thread it. I designed the cap to be small and easily printable, so if you do cross-thread it, you can have another whipped up in around 10 minutes! There is a wire-guide in the back to secure the usb cable from webcams. I designed this to work with my Logitech C920 webcam, but it should work for any camera with a standard threaded end. I printed it with ABS plastic and it works well. If your printer has a lot of shrinkage, you may need to sand the male ends that slide into the base and arm, but I did not. Enjoy!
