Wedding House gift

This is a wedding gift. Obviously we need to store presents like money.

Therefore, three drawers and the puzzle can contain stuff. The puzzle needs to be solved/extracted through the roof to unlock the drawers.

The whole gift can be used as a piggy bank after the wedding with the slits in the roof to drop coins. Cards in the drawers show the collection intention (for the house renovation, party or the garden).

Labyrinth Puzzle Box

Rewards and thanks to revK for the great puzzle. The cylindrical puzzle is integrated into the roof of the house. When the puzzle is inside the roof, the drawers are locked and can't be taken out. I attached the openscad file with the exact parameters I used. Check the original puzzle:

https://github.com/revk/PuzzleBox

https://www.me.uk/puzzlebox/

People living in the house - the windows

The people making this present are greeting through the windows. I have no pictures but you find the .stl files for the picture holder, for the different window sizes. They are simple and you get the idea, if you have some PLA glue.

Printing

The back and the right wall can be screwed down and are printed upright. The front and the left wall are printed on the back, with the stone pattern on top. The walls are made of “Material4Print PLA Graualuminium”

The roof needs some support for printing angles above 45°. With 60mm/s I had a print time of 30 h on my ender 3 v2. The roof is made of “Formfutura ReForm - rPLA Sangria Red”.

Surrounding

The house is placed on a wooden plate of 34 cm x 34 cm with 12 mm thickness.

The front yard is modeled out of a styrodur (extruded polystyrol foam) plate for isolation purposes from the hardware store. I shapped the foam, added spackling paste and stones and sand. After coloring, I added some modelling gras.

The back of the house is covered with old tiles, taken from the renovation of the original house.

A car completes the diorama.

Cad Files - Freecad

I created the project in Freecad 0.20.1 on ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS. When I came to the roof with its roof tiles the work got really slow! I wouldn't recommend editing the files again in FreeCad, because it took my PC up to 1 min after one operation… Feel free to give it a try, but it's probably not your PC, but my broken file…. The .stl Files are directly the one I used.
