My weed eater spool cap broke so I tried this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2949849 but the tabs broke pretty quickly on me (probably my cheap printer/my fault). So I decided to make my own version that's printed in two parts. There's a cap and a separate strap like piece that has the tabs on it. The strap should be printed laying on its side so there are continuous layer lines from one end to the other all the way up the tabs. I also gave it some filets on the corners too, hopefully, spread out the stress in the corners. I printed it in PLA and it seems to be holding up fine so far. My weed eater model number is LST400 but this will probably work with some other Black and Decker models.
