Credits: This is a remix of the fantastic design from printfutura that uses magnet instead of pins to lock making the rotation easier, quicker and most importantly satisfing :).
The size is overall the same but the lid is a bit thicker to accomodate the magnet.
Some other minor changes have been made like removing the second slot in the lid.

Description

This is a rotating magnetic case to hold pills for a week, it has a label for each day.
The use of magnets makes this case really easy to rotate and it will satisfyingly snap to the right slot each time you rotate it.
There is a blank spot in the case where you can keep the opening when not in use (to protect from dust).

Dimensions:
Case is 76mm (diameter) x 30mm (height)
Slot is 22mm (longer side), 6mm (shorter side), 16mm (height)

Assemble instructions

IMPORTANT: Check the orientation of the magnet before you insert them into the print, if you put them in the wrong direction the whole thing will not work :) (And it's really hard to get them out!)

Magnets: You need 3x3x3mm magnets you can use from 10 up to 16, depending on how strong you want the mechanism to be. You should start by adding all the magnets to the lid and then adding just two on the case, if you want it more “clicky” just add more magnets. (I settled with 14).
The holes for the magnets are about 3.1mm and they will fit the magnets snuggly, without the need for glue.
If the magnet is too loose add a tip of hot glue and insert it, if it's too hard to push it in, try to enlarge the hole with a 3mm drill bit.
Labels: You can use a permanent marker to make the week label more visible like shown in the photo.

Print instructions

Check the .3mf file with all the parts already configured with the optimal infill, position, and ironing.

Lid: You should print it with the top on the bed so it will look smoother, if you do so you need to add minimal support for the overhang.
Case: You can enable ironing where the pills will sit to make it smoother.

Filament used: DAS Filament - Translucent green.
Infill: 6-10% for lid and case, 15% for the screw.
Thickness: Standard 2 perimeters.
Layer height: 0.15mm on 0.4mm nozzle.
Support: Yes if you print the lid upside down for optimal surface.
