Welding Cart

Welding Cart

This is a welding cart I designed in Fusion 360 and built. This cart design was liberally inspired by others I had seen online. I modified these to suit my needs. Top shelf is for various things, second shelf is for the welder, bottom shelf is for the water cooler. I put in a drawer on a full draw slides. It is pretty big and stores a ton of things including extra tungsten and grinder.I've designed some hooks for the various cables and a pedal holder. Not shown here, I've also built a holder for 6 types of rods I use. I've sourced the wheels and casters from Home Depot. The rest of the metal is from Metal Supermarkets. If you need the sources, e-mail me.Main frame is 1.5" square tubing at 0.065". Support tubing for shelves is 1", 0.065" thickness. I capped all square tubing. Holders are made with round tube cut in half and some sheet metal welded to it.Overall, a very straightforward build where I learned a lot. Actual build is not straight at all as this was my very first welding project... Interesting to learn about flexing and torsion due to heat...Please contact me if you have any questions.
