I Have designed this case around the Wemos D1 Mini and an SSD1306 Oled display. the display plugs directly into the Wemos D1 as per the Squix weather station blog https://blog.squix.org/2016/06/esp8266-hack-piggybacking-oled-display-on-wemos-d1-mini.html. the lid is a press fit and the case has a reset button on the side. this is V1 but is pretty good. may update more aesthetically and add a reclined cradle in the future.
